Dine in the London tube: The Underground Supper Club

Basement Gallery – Underground Supper Club is a dining experience like no other that allows you to dine in a London underground carriage. This decommissioned tube from 1967 is a perfect venue for a unique London themed meal and is a ‘must indulge’ experience during your next London visit.

The look

Picture your standard average tube, now take away the po-faced morning commuters and add a few fun tables to the tube seats and you’ve got the overall look of The Underground Supper Club. This venue stays true to the iconic London tube aesthetic, with blue and red abstract seat covers still intact and tube maps on the walls.

The food

We’ve already established that this place has got the true London tube look… but does the food live up to its inventive image? Expect Scandinavian dishes presented in a French Brasserie style. Delicate cuisine that is sure to tantalise your taste buds.

The Basement Gallery Head Chef is Alex Cooper, a graduate from Le Cordon Blue School, where he trained to be a chef and soon became one of the top chefs of France. The menu at The Underground Supper Club is nothing short of perfection.

The drinks

Upon arrival you are eligible to one FREE cocktail with your table. How could you possible say no? The selection of drinks at The Underground Supper Club consists of gorgeous wines, beers, soft drinks and other cocktail selections throughout the evening.
