Mr. Praveen Shetty – Chairman & Managing Director
Highly respected and widely regarded for his astute leadership by his peers and the corporate community alike, Mr. Shetty took on the mantle of Chairman & Managing Director of Fortune Group of Hotels in 2002 – He has carved a unique niche for himself, applauded not only for his skillful leadership of the company but also for his commitment towards enhancing his community. His has corporate social initiatives and charities back home in India, he supports the Spoorti Foundation which is doing stellar work for the underprivileged. He also finances some rehabilitation programmes for the blind school; the Spastic Society and educational institutions for the needy children.
Born on July 6, 1967 and he is an alumni of the Govt. Jr. College –Koteshwera and graduated in Bhandarkar College, Kundapur (Mangalore University).
Alok Narula – Group General Manager
He is the Group General Manager of Fortune Group of Hotels and is responsible for the aggressive expansion plans of the company and to provide excellence in service and quality in all aspects of the operations within the region with a special focus on Brand Management, Marketing and Strategy. With his 15 years of experience in the Hotel industry, ranging from 5 Stars & 4 Stars, Chic Business hotels, Luxury resorts, Heritage Palaces. He brings to the table a fresh perspective, channelizing individual strengths into a unified corporate direction.
Born on June 30, 1976, he is a proud College Topper of Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition (IHM, Pusa – New Delhi.) and alumni of premiere business school – IIMA – Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad
Rajesh Gowda – Group Finance Manager
He heads the Group Finance and operating systems of the Fortune Group of Hotels and is based in Fujairah. He joined the Company in 2008 and plays a stellar role in finance management, strategy and is also involved with all major policy framing and management decisions for the company. Previously he has over 15 years of experience in the field of finance and information technology with large multinationals based in India.
Born on April 2, 1973 and is an alumni of Field Marshall Carriapa College, Coorg.
