Just when you thought you’d seen it all: A silent disco at the top of The Shard!

Visiting The Shard, which tapers dramatically to the tallest man-made point in Europe, is an event in itself. Imagine scaling 72 storeys of architectural innovation to a mesmerising 360 degree view of London, its iconic landmarks spread beneath your feet.

Got that image in your head?

Now…

Picture all this… while partying at a silent disco. Yes, you heard us correctly (no pun intended).

Tickets are available seven days a week for all The Shard’s silent disco events – this year and next year.

What’s a ‘silent disco’?

This isn’t your average club night out.

Silent discos were made popular in the 90s by ravers and eco-activists who wanted to party-hard… without any of the noise pollution. They were popularised by festivals and raves, and are now a global partying phenomenon.

A silent disco usually takes place in a club or festival tent and sees club-goers don cool, head-banging resistant headphones. Instead of the music blaring from speakers, it’s pumping through your headset.

A silent disco is quite hilarious to walk in on. Hordes of people losing their inhibitions and singing along to, well, nothing.

The experience is one you can’t miss.

Silent disco at The Shard

If the idea has tickled your fancy, why not pop down – or up – to a silent disco at The Shard’s highest viewing platform?

While gazing out at the London horizon, party on down as three DJs battle it out on three different headphone channels. This means you can change who you’re listening to whenever you want! Not in a Katy Perry mood? Switch to a different channel for some fierce Drum N Bass.

With award nominations under its belt, and thousands of satisfied attendees giving it a big thumbs up, this party is NOT to be missed.

Get on up The Shard, and get on down on the dance floor
